Camp each place in its best weeks.

campszn plans your whole camping season at once. Save the campgrounds you want to visit, and it slots each trip into the part of the year when that place usually has comfortable weather.

You know where you want to go. When is the hard part.

If you plan a season of trips months ahead, every campground on your list needs a time of year. Some places are at their best in spring and fall, others only in high summer. Forecasts don't reach a year out, so the timing usually comes down to memory and gut feel.

Meanwhile the list itself is spread across browser tabs, map pins, and notes on your phone, and the site you meant to try next time is long forgotten by the time you're back.

How campszn works

  1. Collect campgrounds

Save campgrounds whenever you find them, all year. Search Recreation.gov by name or near a place, paste a link from Recreation.gov or Google Maps, or drop a pin on the map. Keep notes on each campground and the sites you'd try or avoid next time.

  2. Compare typical conditions

Pick the candidates for next season. campszn averages each one's daily highs and lows over the last five years and checks them against your comfort range. Compare candidates side by side as charts, or scan good, okay, and poor ratings.

  3. Slot trips into the best weeks

Mark the windows you can camp: some time in May, the week of June 8, or Thursday to Sunday in July. Smart schedule puts each candidate where its conditions are best, must-dos first. Move trips by hand, lock the ones you've decided on, and re-run around them.

Then book on your own schedule. When a campground's reservations open, follow the trip's link to book on the source site, then mark it booked with your dates and site. campszn plans the season; booking stays with the sites you already use.

Free to collect. Paid to plan.
